Wicked Beat – review
I loved this pair! Rebekah and Eric Sticks’ romance makes for a fun, hot saucy read. These books are oodles of sex with a story thrown in. And the stories are all great.
Reb’s a saucy, creative little gal. And, you have to love Eric. He’s a good guy, talented composer – he just lacks a little confidence in the bedroom and especially in matters of the heart. Reb will turn him around, in ways he never imagined. Good, dirty fun by the bucket.
Now here’s the part that makes me laugh. Olivia Cunning’s characters have abundant sex. Endless orgasms. The women all have multiple orgasms. The men all last and last, then get it back up with nary a beat. And I’m in the middle of writing a book about a woman who has never even had an orgasm. I’ve been doing my research. Over 70% or women don’t/won’t/can’t orgasm via penetration. Cunning’s characters never read the statistics! Good for them. And, there are still countless women on the planet who have never had the pleasure of orgasm. Again, not in Cunning’s world.
As for men, at a party the other night, I queried the men, all sexually active, as to how many times a night they can get it up and come. Without overhearing the other, they all agreed to three, tops. One guy said Angel Dust inducement would yield more but the others dismissed drug inducement. In one chapter of Wicked Beat, Eric was on his 4th O and the night was still young.
That’s what fiction is for. Men who love to serve their lovers every craving, who have everlast rock hard realities in their genes AND their jeans. Women who live to orgasm and then orgasm again. Now that’s what I call good fiction. 😉
